Dan is the Head of L&D at Octopus Investments. The L&D team at Octopus partner with businesses to deliver internal technical and soft-skills training as well as coaching and leadership training to support the business’s talent initiatives. As a qualified coach and accredited psychometric assessor, Dan works with leaders across the business to understand their strengths and areas for growth.

Professional background

Before working at Octopus, Dan was the Community Lead for the Design team at Lloyds Banking Group and before that led on Knowledge culture work at EY globally. In both organisations, demonstrating impact, return on investment, and learning effectiveness was core to his role.

Dan has been working in the world of Learning and Development (both in companies and as a secondary school teacher) since 2011.
