His experience spans enterprise AI enablement, future workforce and agentic operating model design, COO leadership in complex regulated environments, global real estate and sustainability strategy, and retail banking operations, governance and resilience.

Experience and expertise

David currently combines enterprise transformation leadership with COO accountability for the Group’s People & Places function. His track record includes transformation of ways of working across ~80,000 colleagues, establishment of a 4,000-person Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad, delivery of major real estate and cost optimisation programmes, and development of Group-wide workforce strategy and people data transformation.

He specialises in helping organisations balance innovation, cost discipline and risk while navigating the enterprise implications of AI, workforce transformation and the future of work.
