Vanessa is the Managing Director for Evolve International global change consultancy and an Independent Leadership and Organisational Development consultant. With a business background she has spent more than two decades in leadership roles in the global financial services industry. Most recently she was Global Head of Leadership Development and Culture Change at HSBC Bank.
She is a change program architect, specialising in designing and delivering award-winning large scale organisation wide culture change and leadership development programs. She designs and facilitates multidisciplinary people change programs that use techniques such as immersive experiences, supported by robust impact measurement to transform organisations. Employing a range of theoretical perspectives, experiential learning, and ‘real time’ practical interventions, Vanessa works at a practical level of people and culture change to create results quickly.
At HSBC she led the culture and conduct remediation work for HSBC following their high profile organisational crises which led to their prosecution. She has developed a number of innovative approaches to people change and development including a speciality in responding to and averting organisational crises. She has a keen interesting in helping drive change for the better by enabling organisations to become change agents for wider society. She has developed a variety of leading edge techniques to supporting organisation wide people change programs to respond to organisation crises and develop a culture of robust risk management and ethical conduct.
Vanessa’s approach is informed by her practical business experience having trained as a commercial banker and risk and compliance executive.
Vanessa is based between Sao Paulo and the UK and is fluent in English, Portuguese and French.
