Gem has spent over a decade in people roles – Head of People, Head of Culture, and now Head of L&D – picking up a CIPD Level 5 somewhere along the way and never quite shaking her fascination with leadership and manager development. Specialising in start-ups and SMBs, she’s spent the last five years building community-driven, knowledge-sharing programmes that get people learning from each other, not just from a course library. She’s spoken recently on AI disruption and personalised learning, and is increasingly vocal about a topic close to home: L&D professionals prioritising their own development.
